Long Beach Woman Arrested Following Early-Morning Trespassing and Property Incident
LONG BEACH — A Long Beach woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after law enforcement officers responded to a reported trespassing incident at a residence where she had previously been formally barred.
Jacqueline S. Harmon, 55, was taken into custody on Oct. 7, 2026, and is facing charges following the incident at 112 17th St. SE.
According to probable cause documents filed in Pacific County Superior Court, an officer on routine patrol observed Harmon inside the residence at approximately 3:05 a.m. on October 7. Records indicate Harmon had been formally served with a trespass notice regarding the property on July 23, 2026, at the Pacific County Jail.
When the initial responding officer commanded Harmon to get on the ground, she reportedly refused, closed and locked the door, and attempted to block the windows and glass door with objects. Additional officers responded to the scene after speaking with the property manager, Ashley M. Krause, who confirmed Harmon was unauthorized to be there and authorized law enforcement to enter the residence by any means necessary.
Officers forced entry into the home through a door after Harmon attempted to close it upon their approach. According to the reports, Harmon claimed she had a key and that the house belonged to her or was involved in litigation, but she also admitted to knowing she was not allowed inside.
The property manager later inspected the residence and reported that the interior had been "trashed" and multiple garbage bags containing items from the home had been placed outside.
Among the items recovered from the bags were a new surveillance camera valued at approximately $50 and a medical massage device valued at approximately $200.
Authorities also noted evidence of a broken bedroom window and a damaged back door panel, alongside reports from utility workers who allegedly observed a woman removing boxes and burning items outside the day prior.
Harmon was booked into the Pacific County Jail, and an amended declaration of probable cause was filed by the Pacific County Prosecutor's Office.
The Court set her bail at $15,000.
